Those involved in the production of the EP "Legacy and Alchemy" talk about the great Brazilian samba diva

She recorded her last two recordings in collaboration with American singer Alexandra Jackson.
The album "Alexandra Jackson: Legacy & Alchemy" (Legacy & Alchemy) honors the great legacy of Brazilian music and eternalizes the greatest compositions of Dona Ivone in "My Dream" and "Force of Imagination".

The singers (Dona Ivone and Alexandra) are accompanied by the most prominent national names of the song such as Pretinho da Serrinha, Arthur Maia, Ricardo Silveira, Max Viana, Marcelo Camargo Mariano, as well as international singers like Chris Walker, Darryl Tookes and Curtis King.

The songs were produced in Los Angeles by the GRAMMY winning engineer, Ed Cherney.

It is worth mentioning that the EP was released in 2017.

"My Dream" is a Samba Queen classic and was suggested for the album.

Robert Hebert and Max Viana produced and arranged the track in December 2015.

Supporting vocals were recorded in New Jersey in January 2016 by Alexandra Jackson, Chris Walker, Darryl Tookes and Curtis King.

The lead vocals by singer Alexandra Jackson were recorded in Rio de Janeiro in February 2016.

"Força da Imaginação" is a song by Dona Ivone Lara and Caetano Veloso which, for this album, was also produced and arranged by Robert Hebert and Max Viana.

Dona Ivone's participation is the sign of the "LEGACY" of this song.

In addition, the participation of Pretinho da Serrinha, considered part of the next generation of Samba, represents the "ALCHEMY" of our musical vision.
